Paul has over 26 years experience in compliance in such firms like BNP Paribas Asset Management, Pictet Asset Management, Barclays Wealth & Investment Management and Quilter Cheviot. Since 2017 Paul is Head of Legal, Compliance and Risk at LGT Vestra, where his most recent focus is implementation of The FCA senior management and certification regime. Working through the implementation, Paul has achieved the business buy-in that it forms part of the firm's competence assessment process. As the firm has grown from a start-up 11 years ago to over 330 people today and implementing the senior management regime into a partnership where people had relied on trust has been challenging. Within next 6 month Paul is going to focus on the completion of the SMCR project and improvements on MiFID II and suitability processes.
